The Leadership Conference on Civil Rights and and Bell Atlantic have created a Web site designed to combat Internet hate speech. The number of hate sites has more than doubled from 1998 to 2001. This Web-site is dedicated to fighting and providing information to counter hate on the Web.

The United States Commission on Civil Rights
The United States Commission on Civil Rights (Commission) is an independent, bipartisan, fact-finding agency of the executive branch established under the Civil Rights Act of 1957. The Commission investigates complaints of voting rights violations, collects information concerning discrimination or violations of the equal protection laws, provides information and resources concerning discrimination and submits it's findings to the President and Congress.
